『英国産植物大図鑑』(1-0077)

著者(1567-1650)は英国人で、ロンドンの中心部に大きな庭園を持ち、それらの植物を愛でながら、その生涯を送った。彼は、庭園の管理方法、有用植物に大いなる興味をもってこの書を書き記した。それゆえに、植物記載についても医学的な知見が多く見られる。背はヴェラム装で、1629年のオリジナル版からの復製版。木版画が使用されていて、植物の英名と学名を同時に検索できるのも大きな特色と言えよう。
