BUCの略称で知られる、英国内各所400以上の図書館に所蔵された逐次刊行物の総目録。大英図書館の蔵書を中心に編纂したものであるが、連合目録の名が示す通り、全ての掲載刊行物について、英国内の他のどこの図書館が所蔵しているかを明記しているのが最大の特長。現在、欧語文献検索の基本書誌のひとつである。
