1525年にケルンで刊行された最初の英語版聖書以降の、2524点の聖書を記載。1903年に出されたダーローとモウルによる書誌を、バーミンガム大学サリーオーク・カレッジの旧約学者ハーバート教授が増補改訂したもの。本書の大きな特長は、様々な英語の方言で刊行された聖書をも扱う対象としていることであろう。
